And, based on the update that's running right now, it was a phony one.

It popped up said I needed an update and didn't have to reboot, so I hit a few confirmations and I let the bad guys into my registry.

It isn't anything like the update running now [asking about OpenOffice and Yahoo toolbars with an Oracle logo].

I wasn't careful and let in a PC terrorist.




At least that's how it was for me ...
