I wonder if any of the fox news watchers on here ever saw the many interviews with Bob Woodward who had frequent access to President Bush, Vice President Cheney, et al. during the war and who claimed that "The Surge" was a smoke screen for other black ops that were really responsible for the change in momentum in the war and that "The Surge" is given credit as a diversionary tactic because nobody wants to reveal what was really taking place (because of the sensitive intelligence involved, not for ideological or political reasons). I think he even revisited this claim later in a 60 Minutes interview and claimed elsewhere he would consider revealing this information if it ever becomes declassified or gets leaked by others.
