The problem that far outweighs the censorship issue, is the probable collapse of the economy. If the net gets turned off, its not going to be for 20 minutes. Say the internet gets shuttered for a 2 weeks. Stock market tanks and you can't make trades. 2 weeks of lost revenue for millions of people, from Craiglist Hookers and the motels they use to Amazon.com and UPS. Leads to no rent or mortgage payments, more foreclosures. So many drones using direct deposit won't have access to cash, and credit card machines at stores run off the net, don't they? Same with food stamps? There will be a lot of dick getting sucked for formula and diapers.

Any president shutting down the net might as well hang himself.
