When was the last time a rock star ate it in a plane crash? That's really become more of a politician thing the last few years.



I think that's how the father of the guy that defeated Stevens got killed. I think he was a congressman at the time.



There was a little blurb on John King's show on CNN about how many pols had been in plane crashes over the last 10-15 years. For some reason JFK, Jr. was on the list. Royalty and all, I suppose.

I also saw somewhere today that Sen. Stevens had been in a plane crash like 30 or so years ago that had killed his wife. You can't get me on a plane unless I'm heavily tranquilized, so I can't imagine getting on a plane after already having been in a crash.
