The biggy is likely to be the fact the revenues lag expenses a lot: the first paying customer won't drop that first dollar until after you've got a site up, with bandwidth, web design, several scenes, and a record of new material on a regular basis. There will be no revenue for a while, and it will take longer still until income covers expenses. Any start-up is always a race between bankruptcy and revenue growth.

Does ~ $2,000 get footage edited and ready to put on a web site with no further editing, all 2257 paperwork in order and everything? That sounds pretty good if the money gets MPEGs that can be just dropped onto the server as-is.
