Alex, I enjoyed Tre Dici Steakhouse in Chelsea, which I picked out of New York magazine's restaurant guide last year. It was plush, dark and intimate. Alas, I dined alone as my transsexual hooker from Craigslist flaked. You may do better.
Tip well. Chicks like a good tipper. Budget $200 for the meal, fill her full of good meat and things will probably work out.

How old are, you, Alex? Age-appropriateness is something to consider. The fact is, if you're under 30 you're not expected to have $200 to spend on a nice meal even if you're hoping to score some snatch out of it. On the other hand, if you're over 30 there is something highly suspicious about not being able to put together $200 for a nice meal if you're hoping to score some snatch out of it. It's kind of a screening mechanism to see if you'd be a good provider for the mewling brood all them bitches want to spawn.
Once you're a couple, the need for the big-spending restaurant meal diminishes considerably as does all the fucking you were formerly doing.

I think that highest tax is in California: I just won an eBay item and it says that California buyers have to pay 9.70% tax.
