I don't see it as the same. Arguing with Bible thumpers is a waste of time since the only points they find valid are those that fit in their narrow interpretation of God's will.

If they have evidence of American girls actually being enslaved or forced into performing, I would be very open to their arguments. They don't. Every girl Shelley has "saved" willingly entered the industry. They are just trying to enforce their values on others by attempting to ban porn because they don't like it. And, it seems everything they don't like, their God doesn't like either, and, ergo, should be banned.


I have no problem with them discouraging girls from starting a career in porn. I don't see choosing a porn career as a very wise decision long-term decision and there's quite a good case against it [starting with the fact that the "stone throwing" funders of the Pink Cross will force any business to fire you if you try to re-enter "society"].

But, too exaggerate and lie to do so ...
