Pierpont, M.D. was a very conservative Republican who gave Barbara Mikulski some tough runs back in the 80s and for a time was chief of Surgery at Maryland General Hospital, and he favored adopted the German health care delivery system. Ross was also a mensch who would spend time with nobodies like me rather than whoring for donors. I am with the late Dr. Pierpont on this issue.
