" A teenager is accused of raping a young woman after locking her in a Bradford flat and threatening to blow it up during a terrifying nine-hour ordeal, a court heard.

Shohidul Islam, 18, brandished a knife at the girl and said he would set alight what she believed to be petrol, a jury at Bradford Crown Court was told yesterday.

Islam had taken the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to a “dirty and smelly” flat above a snooker hall in Birch Lane, West Bowling, Bradford, before locking the door behind them, prosecutor Simon Phillips said."
