I still don't understand but I vote craigslist. Just heard a radio piece on CBC about a guy living for a year off craigslist. Like asking to be a adopted for a day for thanksgiving gave him tons of results.

Anyway one of the biggest pitfalls researchers have found about craiglist is that you may be able to trade a broom handle for a wheel of cheese but you also end up having to hear all about why that person wants to trade their wheel of cheese. There is an emotional toll. The wheel of cheese might need to be traded because someone in the family has cancer, and so on. Really depressing stories.


What I am getting at is that if you do business on craigslist it ends up being a bit more than a wheel of cheese and a broom handle.

I bet Brandon Iron has heard hundreds of crazy "this isn't usually how I am but..." kinds of stories.


EDIT: I just realized how silly this sounded. Substitute broom handles and wheels of cheese for air conditioners and bookshelves.
