I just watched a 2-hour special documentary on high the food prices in Russia are high and stuff. A lot of food that is sold in Russia is produced in China. One Chinese guy revealed the wholesale prices of the goods:

Cucumbers - 1 ruble per kilogram
Apples - 6 rubles per kilogram
Carrots - 6 rubles per kilogram
Peppers - 6 rubles per kilogram
Bell Peppers - 2 rubles per kilogram

$1.00 USD = 31 rubles.

His cucumber farm alone is over 40km long.
