You wouldn't be defending your veracity. Your veracity means nothing if you think an ass kicking in either direction would prove or disprove it. So, along with being not able or willing to cite to prove your veracity, you are unable or unwilling to defend your honor. By your actions, or inactions as it were, you've proven you have neither veracity or honor.
