BTW the tour was interesting. I thought that the house was mored modest than I had hoped it would be, but it was built in the 1880's , about 30 years prior to major innovations in Baltimore row house construction, specifically "daylight" interior rooms. The Mencken house was more in the old "shotgun shack" style where rooms led one straight into the other.

Wouldn't necessarily buy there. Best deals to be found are neighborhoods in the Far East like Inverness and Gray Manor.
