Bornyo Porn Jesus Registered: 09/23/04 Posts: 10321	As a longtime Clemson fan, I have seen far too many clutch folds to be cocky. However, today's outing calmed our (fans) nerves. The team with the best record fell to the team with the worst in the CWS. Furthermore, we seem to be peaking right now. Our bats rattled arguably the best pitcher in ncaa baseball this year, and he never recovered. The game today showed that records are deceiving, that ACC Baseball is grueling, and that in this game, any team can beat the other on any given day.

They play home/home against Furman, Wofford, The Citadel, etc. every year. Damn near all of our baseball games sell out. We don't play zero sum games away from home. It's a stance Wilhem started. We play Coastal and Furman but often do so in the minor league park in Greenville. When you are the bull goose looney free of the constraints of being the "flagship" uni why take such a chance? Especially when you are taking series w/ the likes of said flagship and fsu. Absolutely no reason to let the little guys pound you midweek.
