I'm not quite old enough to remember. Did they hate Clinton? I vaguely remember him being accused of being a media darling by what was the then much less popular, Fox News. I'm sure they hated Reagan early on, but as his popularity soared, did they still hate him?

Obama's best hope is a Republican Congress in 2011. Obama is bad enough. But, Obama with a Democratic Congress is like a drug addicted serial killer who you've given a gun.

It's possible that after that he'll moderate his ways. I'll give him a 2nd chance then. Just not be as open minded as I was the 1st time. I never liked it, but I didn't hate Obama until that whole health care mess. The guy entirely ran on not worrying about universal coverage and just bringing down the costs. Then the stupid bill he signed was just entitlements that didn't even achieve universal coverage, only "near-universal" as he called it, and it raised the costs.

It can not be said often enough that lowering the health care costs in this country, so they are on par with what other industrialized nations spend, is the main problem that needs to be solved in attacking the massive debt this country faces.
