Obama's not even running the country right now. He's the most powerful man in the world, and in the midst of a crisis he gets on television and goes, "I'm gonna create a bunch of commissions! And, I've got people going back to work, weatherproofing people's windows!".

Congress is running the country. His whole strategy in health care was to let Congress do it. Thought that that was why Clinton failed with it in '93. Apparently the Liberals in Congress gotta hold of the whole thing and the only political capital used to fight tooth and nail with was to get the public option. Then the Liberals were bitching that it had to be so watered down to get it passed. Then, even watered down, that was too Liberal pass.

The other main thing he's done is the stimulus bill. David Brooks has got columns about how that ceased to be a well design economic stimulus bill that Obama put together. Nancy Pelosi wrested control of it and it became Liberal pet spending projects that they've been wanting to do for years.

Obama doesn't know what he's doing. The Speaker of the House some say is as powerful as the president, because she has complete control over what votes come to the floor. Nancy got to be looking at Obama and thinking, "Okay, there's 6 more months. What do I want to do?"
