Towelhead, like most slang meant to be culturally insensitive, is offensive depending upon the context. i've never experienced racism twds me or indifference due to being half-'towelhead' aka 1/2 pakistani. maybe that's why it's not an issue to me and don't allude to my background when i post here. the only thing i've noticed is that i can handle spicier foods than anyone and no one was shocked when i got an 'A' in Calc. I haven't seen Towelhead yet, but I'd like to. The part Dino mentioned where she imagines herself in Penthouse and lusting after one of the models, I can definitely relate.
