Our legacy continues.

This guy came out of nowhere. He made zero campaign appearances. No speeches. Beyond the filing fee he spent no money on his campaign, and he raised none. Yet he beat out a 4 term Statehouse veteran for the Democratic Party's nomination to run for US Senate against Jim Demint. He was so far off the radar that no one- not the dem. party or his main opponent bothered to meet him or search his background.

Well, after winning, it turns out he has an outstanding felony obscenity charge hanging out there, and he refuses to step down.

It doesn't really matter- whoever the Dems run is going to be crushed by Demint, who is truly a good Senator. But now they are running with a sex offender. At least our Governor and front-running candidate did everything consensually.
