After reading about the Sunny Dae debacle, and then her posts adamantly denying that she worked as a prostitute. I can't help but wonder why all pornstars deny they ever would or ever have hooked while they simultaneously have ads on escort sites all over the internet. It can't be all about law enforcement since I bet the ones interested in arresting women for escorting might actually take the time to look at escort sites. I know that the law enforcement thing is the easy answer, but I don't buy it. They'll admit to a history of drugs, theft, a multitude of other crimes and then scheme to commit murder, but they are so afraid that prostitution is illegal that it can never be mentioned?? I don't think that is the answer, is it?

Now I'm not making a comparison other than to make a point. When Gary Ridgeway ( the Green River Killer) was arrested, it took him a long time to admit that he was going back to the places he'd dumped ther bodies to "interact" with them. See, it was one thing to cop to killing a shitton of hookers, but he was ashamed he'd go back and fuck them after he'd dumped them.
Same thing here. It's easy to be a porn whore, because you're a "star". A celeb. Heck, you're practically Jenna Jameson, if you can delude yourself enough. Big parties, hanging with dudes in Affliction shirts. Gated communities. Perelli tires. There's a certain cache' to it all, as long as you don't peel the onion too deeply. But let's face it. There's no cache' to being a hooker. You can cloak it in "escort", or "hobbiest" or "provider", but at the end of the day there's little difference between the pipe- hitter walking the stroll and Teri Wiegel turning tricks for $1500 a pop (or much less after negotiation). Either way, a hooker is still a stupid woman who made shitty choices to end up where she is.
This isn't to say I don't groove on hookers. I certainly do. But I also realize that while a hooker/ john relationship is symbiotic, it's still a hooker/ john relationship.

Some porn whores take the imaginary distinction between porn and hooking to the extreme. Riley Brooks, one of my faves from a few years ago, used to do this. Riley would say "you can make a movie with me for $100O". Riley would fuck you however you wanted for an hour, but she'd insist that a camera be rolling so she could convince herself it wasn't hooking.

The stigma still exists. It may not in your circle but in the world at large, it does. No one I know wants a present or former escort teaching their kids in school, preaching from a pulpit or holding a public office.

Uhhhm.....there are already plenty of teachers fucking their students, preachers abusing alter boys, and politicians finding their soulmates outside of marriage. An influx of porners would only improve things.

Chasey Lain For Rent! It seems to always be later in their career's they become full time prostitute's. Kathy Willets, Teri Weigel followed the same path. Sunset Thomas more the exception, prostitute first. Are any of them really that exceptional for the amount of money you spend?
