I still use the Braun almost everyday and I sure hope they didn't expect more than a 6 month adjustment period. The problem is that it just doesn't work by itself. You need to go back over certain areas with a razor. The hair needs to be exactly the right length and sitting in just the right position for the electric razor to work. Also, if you miss a day or two, forget about using the electric razor, as you mentioned, you gotta shave with another razor first before trying to go back to the electric.
