Unfortunately, there are lotsa prudes making that argument every time porn is mentioned.
Regardless of your opinion of Max's films, the people in them are consenting adults, not kids. And nobody in Rob Black's films were actually killed (as far as I know).

Funny how this argument is always made when it comes to sex, but never when a graphically violent film like SAW or Hostel comes out....
