Citgo (Venezuela) is the one I was thinking of as an example of a nationalization *failure*. Look at the company again: it's declined substantially since Hugo Mugabe took over, almost as badly as Pemex. He's proving the old saying that the best way to make a small fortune is to start with a large fortune.

I'm sure all of the people in Venzuelan slums are cheering Hugo's decision to subsidize the poor New Englanders.
