Two things: I highly doubt guns being shipped to Canada are just gonna be enjoyed by a few buddies getting a buzz on. Secondly, do you think the States would just willingly extradite some guy to Canada without digging their heels in? Harper is a total cock.
Emery should have shown some better judgment. But seeds? Come on man. It wasn't like he was mailing pounds of the shit to texas or something.



I've talked with Emery a few times and he's a very sincere and passionate about his cause. I think what people don't realize is that this is a battle he has welcomed, and he knew what the outcome could have been. He's willing to lay it all the line to show the goofiness of pot laws in the US. I doubt he wants to go to prison, but he also knew all along that the US government was a big fucking windmill to tilt at. If you look a little deeply into his history, it all makes sense. Maybe not what any of us would do, but the guy has stood up for his beliefs. I think legalization is inevetible, but I think history will remember him as a minor footnote. The voters of either California or Oregon will be remembered as the real catalysts.

He's a really nice guy, and I hate to think of what prison time will do to him.
