When you take on the pain of others and set out to help them, there really isn't much to laugh about. I'm speaking from experience. Amazingly, I've never used any major drugs (neither illicit nor prescription)... but I did abuse caffeine while at ADT, and I regret the "hyperfocus" that caused me to have. I have a tale to tell

I did so by drinking at least one cup of caffeinated beverages per day for several weeks straight. Maybe that's not what some people would call caffeine abuse. But when you have major headaches and generally feel like shit after going without it for a few days... yeah, that's an addiction and a subsequent full-blown withdrawal.
If only I'd gone for, say, alcohol instead. Then, perhaps, I wouldn't have to remember the magnitude of my failure and continue to live with the memory. I was pretty fucking depressed for a while.
That's all from me. This is The Cage, after all. Truth, if that's what I posted, doesn't belong here.
