Ford quoted Kami, and the quote was the best writing I've ever seen on his site. If he made a policy of linking to everything she posted, it would be a big improvement.
Monkey posted that he had sex with a ten year old girl. He periodically posts that Marc Wallice is dead. He posts pictures of one person and says it's another person. I'm not sure why anyone would believe anything he said about Chico.
Not to hijack the thread or anything, but am I the only one seeing "Svar på" instead of "Quote" in my posts, or is everone else seeing that also?

I was going to ask what the fuck language that was but then I might lose my reputation as a know-it-all.  Well, I don't think that's cool. With certain people (see, I keep my promises, jrv) who are never going to amount to anything anyway, that's one thing, but you don't hit a man's pocketbook. Imagine if you will John Goodman beating a car with a crowbar and screaming about what it's like to FUCK A MAN IN THE ASS. But having seen none of what the hell led to this (everything ever posted to the monkey cage appears to be nuked), I have no way of telling.

I agree - the Cage was a really good idea for a number of reasons and will certainly return in one form or another. And a lot of his threads were good - I thought "Ask Christina" was hilarious on many levels.
Unfortunately he lacks judgment and balance. When he gets bored and wants to stir things up he simply doesn't realize that "Ask Christina" is a lot better than the Chico or Lain threads. I think I sent him threats or reminders not to chase off talent every week and came very close twice to suspending his login for Tony to review; this after he was made mod.
The biggest problem though may be the time he takes. He is a very high-maintenance user; Tony probably spends more time on him than everyone else combined. XXXPT isn't exactly a profit center for Jeff and just takes time away from Tony's real job. The need for Tony to spend yet more time on Monkey business, on a weekend morning, may have been the final straw.

To be honest I wouldn't mind seeing the Cage, and the Monkey, return. What I think needs to change is another mod needs to be added to the Cage, a way found for other mods to reduced the amount of time Tony spends on Monkey business, and an understanding by the Monkey that some discretion would be a really good idea. But the Rubicon may have been crossed already.
PS. Smartt might feel otherwise.
