I had recorded GFE on my DVR and happened to watch it last night. The movie was very slow and in a lot of ways disjointed. You could tell a lot of the movie was improv and I think that was probably a bad decision by the director. Sasha just doesn't have the acting chops to be real and spontaneous. She did have some very good moments in the movie but not enough to call it a good performance.

The side story of the boyfriend going to Vegas and flying out there with a few friends was pointless. I thought the boyfriend's performance was even worse than Sasha's. You could see him ACTING in every scene. He never seemed natural.

I'm curious if her being monotone through much of the movie was a conscious decision by the director or if she was just flat. It didn't work when Sasha was arguing with her boyfriend that's for sure. When Sasha was in escort mode and meeting with clients her performance was spot on. She also had good moments when she described being humiliated by a sleazy client looking for a freebie for press and when being disappointed in another client.

I don't think I'd recommend the movie to the average person. But I didn't hate it.

All and all, I'd rather watch her fuck than act.
