From what I have heard it ranges from royalties, amount the contract performers get for each scene, what they get for speaking appearances, pr appearances, length of service in either movies or years.
It is very similar to boxing in that once the girl or guy signs it, its a bitch to get out of. And sometimes they can get the trademark on the name or movies.
