When life gives you oil spills, blame corporations. So what if government agencies were required by law to have had enough booms on hand to allow them to burn off the oil in the early stages before it spread. So what if corporations are soaked with licensing fees and taxes to pay for these things because occasional spills are to be expected. Don't blame bumbling bureaucrats. Let's use this goevernment created crisis as an excuse to stop drilling. That way we can buy oil from other countries that are even more prone to drilling and spill containment fuck ups. Yay for liberal logic!
