Yes, there is a story behind the name smelly monkey. I still don't know why i am telling this because it is embarrassing, but what the hell. When i was still in high school some friends and i were out one weekend and we decided that we would try pills for the first time, we did and for those who have taken them it can fuck you right up, make you see things that aren't there, think irrationally, etc. After about an hour into them i thought going to the zoo at 2 am was a good idea, the buddies i was with laughed it off, i said i was taking off , i think they assumed i was going home, but when i said it i meant i was going to the fucking zoo. Next thing i know i wak e up the next morning in a chimp enclosure at the fucking zoo, with no idea how the fuck i got in there, the person that feeds them woke me up and asked what in the hell i was doing in there. They called the police as you do, keep in mind im still not straight yet but im well enough to know that im fucked and have to play this straight. Cops take me in and throw me in the drunk tank, i call my buddy to come bail me out a few hours later. On the way home he said when he went up to find out where i was the cop said ohh yeah, the smelly monkey is just down there. Name stuck ever since.
