Pick-ups are better with wheelchairs than sedans because of the direction the suicide doors open.

As for getting in and out, often there's some strength but not enough control in the legs for walking. Also, unlike masturbating to porn, pushing a wheelchair can make for really strong arms - some of these guys can *lift* themselves directly into a car, then turn and fold the wheelchair into the space behind the driver's seat.

A sedan in a handicapped spot is much more suspicious than a pickup - that sedan almost certainly didn't need that handicapped spot and could have used a normal spot a few down the row.
