Direct investment in CHINESE companies, is suicidal, Nitne is correct regarding the whole fucking country and their perverted accounting and concept of "DEBT"....what I really mean is trying to find funds that focus on American or Euro companies who are taking advantage of China's voracious consumption of any and all things, especially commodities (India too, including regards to FOOD).....

A large portion of my Marketing career revolved around packaging, and Paper as we all know is a commodity...From 1999 pretty much through the decade to now, China's consumption of Trees in all converted forms meant that, if you had even a toehold in a paper company with their own forests, you made money in your sleep. My guilt from being in this industry, given my academic pedigree, behooved me to stick my footrests into the tech companies packaging all that 'puter shiite in redundant and wasteful schemes, and in the process turn my hearing aid up when rolling by the boardroom during discussions of mergers, Pre-dot cum bubble of course....
