I always guess wrong but this one I know - It's Damnation by Mad Hungarian Bela Tarr. I've seen a bunch of his films - particularly liked Prefab People with its John Cassavettes vibe.

There was a retrospective of his work in Vancouver a few years ago and he flew out for the week for it. He hung out with us and we went out drinking after the screenings.

He's not really as depressive as his movies suggest.
