my dvd buying has dropped dramatically.

around Xmas time i picked up some solid stuff for the collection

like the Alien Quadrilogy, the Hitchcock Masterpiece collection, a couple of the Bond box sets, Addams Family vol.3 and the Exorcist Anthology.

aside from that, lately I have only picked up:

Halloween (3 disc circuit city edition)
Hatchet (2 disc circuit city edition)
Saw IV

I'm pretty much done buying the 'just to watch' random shit. In this day, if it's not part of the permanent collection, i'm not dropping the loot.

I just got a 50' plasma so I might drop a couple of bucks on a blu-ray player, but i'm still debating. the only stuff i'd bother picking up would be the heavy cgi stuff like spiderman movies... the shit i love like Hammer Horror movies from the 60's probably look as good as they'll ever on the DVDs i have.
