OK, I know that this probably doesn't justify its own thread and probably should have been posted under something like "Not Worth Its Own Thread" or "YouTube Music", but I have spent many years suffering with insomnia and being rocked gently to sleep by the Clash singing about Sean Flynn while staring at the ceiling and wondering if he really died and if he was scared and alone in the middle of the jungle, in the middle of a war when it happened, and if he regretted leaving his life of privilege to take pictures for Time magazine --all of this taking my mind off of my own trivial issues and allowing me to drift off to sleep.
So he was a rich guy from a famous family going into the war torn jungles of Viet Nam to take pictures...
...and was captured, tortured, and killed in some unknown prison camp for no reason. Such is life?
Read about him here.
Listen about him here (and develop a sense of musical taste for once in your life).
No, I don't expect much of a response to this thread. After all, Sean Flynn is no Spencer Pratt and The Clash are no Lady GaGa, are they?
