Yeah, I didn't consider all that, I think it's more a biproduct of the era he was brought up in. Didn't he end up marrying a jew? The rumor has it he had dreams bout the "night gaunts" gripping him with their talons and flying him over amazing ruined vistas by his stomach (he died of stomach cancer )
