I am honored to be interviewed by elglorioso. I've actually been called a 'fat trailer piece of shit mullet whore' my whole life. In the old days it was an insult, but now, as an adult I find it a compliment to be considered different. I like the word unique. After all, do you know any other female writers who spend their days interviewing porn stars, and their nights running the biggest adult industry news & gossip blog on the planet? Hopefully there is just one, ME! So whether you call me Cindi Loftus, or Not Luke or bitch (just yesterday someone called me a tool, love that!), whether you like me, love me or hate me, you have to admit I am one of a kind.
How did I get here you ask? Hard work, good luck and circumstances is the short answer.

Here is the longer one: Born & raised in Binghamton, NY by a loving family. An addicted reader & writer from the moment I could read & write. First published in a third grade anthology, something about a purple people eater. Excellent student until 10th grade when alcohol & boys took precedents. Partying was a priority in college also, until I met my future husband & step-children.
Married young & moved to Florida, where I went back to school & got a degree in legal studies specializing in Tax law. Worked as a branch manager for H & R Block (one of the youngest ever), and an instructor teaching people how to do their taxes. I LOVED teaching, but it paid shit. Spent the next three years running a corporation with 80 (mostly) female employees. I hired, trained, budgeted, scheduled, payrolled, advertised, and created, did customer relations, oh & had phone sex, it was THAT kind of company.
While I was living my life and working hard, I was also writing part time, always. Sometimes for pay, sometimes for free.
Any and all subjects for newspapers, mags, websites, college papers, surveys, even menus and newsletters. When Madonna's book SEX came out in 1992, I wanted it, but couldn't afford the a frivolous $50 purchase. Agreeing to do a review of it, got me a free copy, and my first article for Xcitement magazine. I continued to write for them for perks for many years.
When I got fed up with horny men panting in my ear and welfare mothers threatening to beat me up for firing them, being called at 3 am to come to the office because the phone system had gone down & a prick of a boss who kept employees loyal with bribes, I quit the phone sex business.
I had no backup plan, but sometimes enough is just enough, and I knew finding another job wouldn't be a problem. I didn't know that Xcitement was looking for a new editor for their trade magazine... and I got the job, the full time, fun, exciting and interesting job I had always wanted as a writer. It wasn't the subject matter I had imagined, but it was the job I always had.
While working for Xcitement I got to know people in the adult industry. I made friends, I made contacts, I started working for all of Xcitement's magazines and became the head writer. I became fascinated with the people and grew to love the odd assortment of outsiders, I fit in with them so wonderfully!

Xcitement started their website and gave me my own part of it A year & a half ago I purchased my friend, Luke Ford's gossip site LIB, a controversial blog with a ragtag bunch of opinionated troublemaking commenters (Germy Steal, Disco Dan's bestie RevSandy/The Colonel, RockPepe, Smugmutant, Houston Don, etc.)

What is Luke is back?

LIB was started by infamous adult industry blogger (and my friend) Luke Ford. When he decided to get out of this biz , he wanted to sell the site. Luke had already built up a readership and had controversial commenters. I thought it was a great match for what I wanted to do, and I thought his idea of a site allowing all opinions should continue. I thought it would be a perfect outlet for people in the industry to trade opinions on everything whether it be porn or politics. The site is not for the soft hearted, and although I consider myself the former, LIB has taught me alot, and thickened my skin. I am proud to say that the readership has grown quite a bit since I've taken over.


How did you fat mullet trash got into adult community ?

I've always been a writer in some form or other, although I went to school for tax law. I just got lucky that Xcitement magazine ( that I always wrote some stories for part time) needed a full time editor when I needed a new job. I started working for them full time over 10


What is typical day like for Cindy?

I get up, brush my teeth, wash my face, feed my dog, feed my cat, pour myself a diet sunkist orange soda, sit down at my computer in a baggie t-shirt and fluffy sox and work all day on the magazine and my sites, around 8pm I take a break to eat and watch TV or a movie. I cuddle with my husband and mys dog on the couch, and then depending on whether I am on deadline or not, I either go to sleep or go back to work.



Who are some of your favorite people to write about in Adult Community?

For LIB, I like tough people who can give it out, and take it, like Mariah Milano who is very out spoken and opinionated, and doesn't back down from her view. Vicky Vette is also featured on LIB a lot with her essays and is so knowledgeable about being a webmaster and she's not afraid of what the commenters have to say. On LN, I have so many well known great writers. I am proud to run that site and to post what they have to say. Of course I have to mention my best friend, Georgina Spelvin who often appears on LN. I admire strong women.


What do you fat whore want to achieving in your life?

happiness, peacefulness and to be respected in my field. Somedays I feel that I have achieved that already, and somedays I don't.


What's your philosophy on Porn?

Live and let live as long as it is between consenting adult and everyone is having fun & getting paid.


What is Love?

If you find it, hang on to it and treat it like precious diamonds, because there isn't enough to go around.The World: Is gettting smaller due to the internet, I am hoping that it brings us all together eventually.


What is one of funniest things you ever write about some one you trailer park trash mullet whore?

Some of the posts I make are only for comedic value, but people often take them seriously. I'm not saying which ones. If you don't get my sense of humor, you just don't. Let me say there are a few people who definitely do, which makes me love them all the more Vicky Vette, Kayden Kross, Randy West, Jamie Gillis ( call me!), MrTeagan, are the ones that come to mind.


Have you ever started a story but said no because it was hurt someone?

Yes many times. An attempted suicide comes to mind, but no one will ever hear the name or those details from me


What Piss you off fucking cunt?

Unfairness, which is why I always try to post both sides of an issue, animal cruelty, and an empty fridge


What is the funniest thing that ever happened to you at work you fucking mullet whore?

Well I work alone, at home, but there are times when I crack myself up. I'm afraid they couldn't be replicated. I will say that some of the interviews I do are a lot of fun. I think Kirstin Price was the funniest person I ever interviewed.

1. My husband because he is the best pillow and listener and makes me feel safe.
2. My dog because she sleeps with me and is a cuddler
3. My computer, without it what would I do all day?
4. Twitter- It's nice to keep in touch with all my friends and meet new ones.
5. It's also really useful to get ahold of someone quickly when I need a quote for a story.
6. Diet Sunkist orange soda it's the best drink on the planet, you add Captain Morgan and it gets even better.
7. Of course Xcitement magazine that allows me to do a job I love.
8. My websites which allow people to learn about the adult business from the inside out & the sites keep me on my toes, and entertained. All the wonderful people involved with the adult industry that I talk to often and am lucky enough to consider my friends.
9. Video games ( right now Scrabble & Sims 3) which allow me to get away to another world.
10. The beautiful view out of my window; it is lovely to look at all day, filled with wild life, and occasionally I go kayaking out of my back yard.

My husband is going to get freaked out hard as soon as I am healthy again. I think it's hotel time!


What is advice you give newbies coming into adult business?

Think long and hard before you step into a job that is going to follow you forever. And if you decide to go for it, do the best job you can do, make a name for yourself and put 10% of the money you make in an untouchable savings account.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a Saturday night? What’s your favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon?

I can answer both of those together. If it's nice out, go kayaking, take the dog for a walk, or go to a park and walk around in nature. If I stay inside- lay on the couch to watch a movie or read a book with my husband and my dog. I'm pretty boring, lol.



If you were trying to pick up someone up how would you do it?

I would say, would you like to come back to my house for some wine, and naked Wii Bowling? ( I stole that line from my friend Alica Hydra, Thanks hon)


Name 1 thing not many people know about you?

I have severe anxiety disorder. Things like crowds ( conventions) and talking on the phone to strangers, and even driving the car in traffic, can give me an anxiety attack. And if you've never had one, it feels like you are having a heart attack. And if you have had one, you know it's awful and very scary. I avoid the situations that bring them on, if at all possible, and I take medication that helps.

Why haven't many people see your fucking face?

See above! ( and the fact that I work on a magazine that is all around where I live. I'd prefer not to be recognized in the grocery store, lol.


If you had one super power what would it be?

I'd like to fly. I can fly in my dreams and it is the most awesome thing in the world. Hence my love for Imax movies.


If you werent doing what you are doing now what would you be do?

I'd be writing something somewhere for pay & either be teaching OR running a Video store. Those are the only jobs that I have loved doing.
