BTW, I just finished watching Van Helsing and I liked it- it got a lot of bad mouthing from people so I was worried but I am happy to say thast I enjoyed it as a good popcorn movie and Jackman is good in the role. Plus it has a lot of hot chicks- vampire and otherwise. 3out of 5 dancing bananas

Well, I watched both of them. The first,a nd the remake that just came out on DVD.

I thought they were both good, but the second was very well done, IMHO.

I also watched Poltergeist, Night of The Living Dead, and some Japanese zombie flick called Junk.

Didn't watch DOD yet, but last night I watched Frankenfish and I loved it- for a b type horror movie it is quite good. So you were right again toelicker

Impressive. I have the R4, NTSC edition released in South America, that´s a two-disc set full of extras.

Disc one has two commentary tracks and a featurette on the making of Alien Vs Predator, Gosh knows why.

Disc two has all the deleted scenes with commentary, a 60+ minute documentary on the making of, "Audio Anatomy", lots of pre-vis stuff and, more importantly, a 60+ minute docu on the "Science Behind The Day After Tomorrow".

This docu basically blames the USA for global warming, so I guess that´s the reason it was scraped from the R1 release.

Oh well.

What, no Stepford Wives?

For me it's: WC Fields collection and Before Sunset, but I may wait because the next 2 weeks after this have more possibilities.

But I watched Saw on Sunday. I enjoyed that one.

I picked up JU-ON, before sunset and the wc fields collection today. JU-on is the original Japanese movie that the grudge is based on ( as far as I know).Before Sunset has Julie Delpy in it who I love and WC Fields just plain rocks.

Thanks Smartt, I will check it out when I watch it- is it any good? I loved the ring (Ringu) so I figured I'd give it a try. What did you pick up today? I wish I had more cash because I would have liked to get Marx Bros. too but the next 2 weeks have Riddick, Aqua teen hunger force vol 3, and the Seinfeld sets coming so I best save some ducketts.

Toe, I 'll be getting Riddick ( I saw it in the theater and really liked it), ELF and the Aqua Teen Hunger Force vol. 3 set. I am not sure about what else is worth it- if it weren't for you and Smartt I would have missed Frankenfish- which i really liked.

Yeah, Riddick is a must rent, or buy.

I just watched Riddick! I thought it was great! I hope they make another one.
