Nah, I've followed that site before. Sure it's hard to swallow for people who believe ideas like Palestinians are a bunch of monsters and all they do is teach their children to kill Jews, but reading their entirely foreign opinion is the only way to know what's going on.

I forget the back story exactly. But, like some royal from Qatar started that thing. With personal money, not government. His stated purpose was to provide excellent journalism, not government propaganda. Exactly like how I'd like to see western media evolve. With the rise of the internet and everyone getting their news for free, newspapers are feeling the heat. Was watching the president of Columbia (the only Ivy League college to take journalism as a field serious enough to provide a specific college for it) talk about how alternative methods of financing the media is going to be necessary because nobody's paying for it directly any more....

Anyway, you read non hateful Fox News discussions about Al Jazeera, and you hear a lot of stuff good about that organization.
