I saw one episode of "The Two Coreys" reality show (think that was the name) that blew me away. It was the one where Haim dragged Feldman into counselling with him to get their relationship back on track. Here, Haim is a recovering drug addict bitching that Feldman's life is just as fucked up as his. Meanwhile, Feldman is happily married and lives in a big house.
The show ends with a clip of Feldman in front of a bunch of his friends making fun of all the shit Haim said in counselling.
The next episode is about Valentine's day and I can barely stand to watch as Feldman has hired a band to back him while he serenades his wife with a soul song he wrote himself. Feldman's doing all the looks of pain on his face you see soul singers do while he's trying to belt out the song.
Haim really was the more talented of the two. I'd have loved to have seen more serious work he did.
Saw Feldman on Howard Stern one time where Howard brought in some judges and pitted the guys who worked on his show, who played a few instruments, up against Feldman's band. Feldman sang some song about, "No one gives a damn about a former child star." I was sitting there thinking, "Yeah ,you're right. Nobody does give a damn. So, why are you singing a song about it? Nobody cares. Move on." Howard's band had him singing and they covered some Ramones song. The judges declared Howard's band the winner.
