All right I am going to give it a try, the whole grindhouse thing did not appeal to me enough to go see it in the theater but ill check it out on tuesday.

How come it didn't appeal to you? Because it didn't seem to work for almost the entire country. I was actually surprised because I personally thought this was going to be huge but it turned out to be a major flop.

Has anyone watched Sex: The Annabel Chong Story? I watched it last night and thought it was a very badly made- at times very fake- documentary.

No Loop,it looked interesting but when i remembered it i couldn't find it and then i would forget it. Glad I did now.


BTW- i have 2 retractions to make: Grinhouse- Planet Terror was decent and i liked it. Also The Devil's Rejects was great, I loved that flick. Kyoto was right about it

I still haven't watched any of Rob Zombies films- none of them looking interesting.

House of 1000 Corpses is like the worst movie ever. Devil's Rejects is better story-wise, but suffers from excruciating ham-handed dialogue. You can't watch a single frame of D.R. without picturing Zombie pulling his hair out in front of his laptop while asking himself over and over, "What would Tarantino say/do?"

I felt bad when they died at the end


Watched it again with the commentaries- loved it even more. As opposed to Quentin's flicks which seem to bore me now. Also rewatched house of 1000 again, which i didn't like originally and came away liking that one too.

Actually I count Lost in Translation as the worst movie ever if we are doing it like that.

I love House of 1000 Corpses. True, it does drag a bit toward the end, but the thing I enjoy about it is that it reminds me a lot of the horror movies of my youth. It came out at a time when Hollywood was content to shove Scream and its ilk down our throats and call it true horror. Corpses broke away from that mold. And Captain Spaulding is one kick ass motherfucker.

Cleetus, does Solid Gold have a box set? I loved that show so much and loved the dancing.

I don't find any mention of it on dvd Gia, I can't even find any info on a future release. They release these things in odd patterns if at all. I bought Baretta dseason one and then they stopped releasing them . Of course I may have been the only one to buy the set but damn
