I watched The Grudge the other night. It was decent, but somewhat hokey in parts.

I mentioned in the other thread and think you might like it too- Spun is pretty funny
The Grudge is based on a jap. movie called Ju-on or something like that , perhaps the original is better.
I just watched an odd little independent type flick called the September Tapes 2 nights ago- it is like apocalypse now meets the blair witch (no supernatural stuff though) in Afghanistan. I liked it and so might you ( except of course some nonsense spewed by the Kafir in the locales). Overall though it is worth a rental IMO.

No, Ju-on is not better. It's exactly the same(location and story) except with Japanese actors.

I saw Spun many months ago. It's hilarious!

Do you know of any more flicks that are like "Spun" peoples? Or Napoleon Dynamite. I love that stuff that is just odd and freaky but funny as hell like those were. Repo Man would also fit this category. I think I am pretty up on movies but maybe you guys know some thast fit the bill. Kami give me some recommendations too I see that you like Spun too so I bet you have some favs I might like too.

An old school funny action movie that I enjoyed is Remo Williams.

Also, try a movie called Booty Call.

For an absolutely hilarious movie, that I highly recommend, try Best In Show. Trust me, it's funny.

I'll think of more later. One of the funniest movies I've scene is Austin Powers:Goldmember. I'm sure you've seen that one, though.
