Supposedly the only sophisticated art form to have been developed in the USA. Like Europe has classical music, we got Jazz. When this country finally does have a culture to be proud of, Jazz music will be integral.

Ask any art history major. They'll tell you.

But, I gotta find stuff that's similar to classic rock to be able to get into it. That's what I'm used to and that's what I understand. Joshua Redman being current. Louis Armstrong's Hot 5's and Hot 7's being more classic examples.
