What didn't you like about it Loop? I want to check it out Tuesday- any movie that portrays Europeans as weird sadist killers is alright in my book. They really should make a movie like Resident evil 4 ( without the monsters but full of sick freak euro trash stalking americans ).

Ok- i can see that you may be searching for more in your flicks, or at least different things than I am. With horror movies all i want is atmosphere. For sex in film I buy porn and I can do without ultra gore.
I also like believable monsters and Hostel presented some believable monsters ( to a degree ).

Yes I have seen that version of Mute Witness a long time ago. I agree with you on the ultra gore and monsters. I actually don't enjoy gory movies that much and like you, prefer atmosphere over violence or zombies. However, film has no formula. Sometimes I find myself at war with a statement I may have made or enjoying a film I normally would never predicte myself watching.

I have Deadwood Season 2 and Kingdom of Heaven Director's Cut on order from amazon. I'm looking forward to seeing the true version of KOH. I saw it last week on cable. I liked what I saw but I've heard the Director's Cut is a 100 times better. I'll probably pick up the new Boondock Saints release later this week too.

Did you already mention Amazing Stories is out on DVD? Perhaps you did but I didn't notice. I picked up the DVD today but won't watch it until the weekend.

Loop, I have war of the worlds sitting here but I never feel like watching it. Nothing against the movie but I just have to be in the mood to watch a certain movie. Last night i felt like watching a dumb comedy- put in Grandma's Boy and loved every minute of it. It was just one of those movies that you can shut of your mind and laugh like Billy Madison or Dumb and Dumber. That was the first movie I have watched in weeks because I have been watching an assload of Pride FC dvds to catch up on all the MMA that I have missed.

I totally know what you mean. I'm the same way. Next time you feel like watching a bad movie check out Robo Vampire. I watched this one afternoon when I required stupidity and... you know how there are good movies, and how there are not-so-good movies, and how there are movies that are so not good that they tip the scale and become good again and then there are movies that are just so bad it's not even funny anymore?

Well, Robo Vampire is a movie which pushes past the shit barrier and not only tips the scale again, but leaves it completely shattered in its wake. This is definatley the worst film in existance and you and that's something you have to watch.
