Hayao Miyazaki is amazing. I mean who goes to sleep ....dreams up Spirted Away and Howl's and then transforms his dreams/visions onto paper and the big screen. I wonder what the Angels are whispering in his ears at night. I used to wonrder the same thing about Star Wars too.

Hayao Miyazaki is insanely talented, but check out Osamu Tezuka (the GOD of Manga) and Satoshi Kon for some mind-altering brillance.
Another favorite is Hideki Takayama- his earlier work is out of this world. Just pure and absolute adrenalin rush.
