Last night I watched Battlespace. It's honestly not as bad as the reviews but it's not great either: what escapes most people is the struggle this guy went to make this piece of shit. About 4 years of his life and selling all his assets (1.8 million worth)- $35,000 in legal fees to get back his film some Kraut fx kids, nearly killing his talentless actress and hiring one of the hottest actresses in the biz to only give her a voice only role.

Its been so long. The way I remembered it was they died before they were able to run off and get married. I was clearly wrong. In regards to the screen caps... those are indeed natural wonders.

like the Alien Quadrilogy, the Hitchcock Masterpiece collection, a couple of the Bond box sets, Addams Family vol.3 and the Exorcist Anthology.

I'm pretty much done buying the 'just to watch' random shit. In this day, if it's not part of the permanent collection, i'm not dropping the loot.

I just got a 50' plasma so I might drop a couple of bucks on a blu-ray player, but i'm still debating. the only stuff i'd bother picking up would be the heavy cgi stuff like spiderman movies... the shit i love like Hammer Horror movies from the 60's probably look as good as they'll ever on the DVDs i have.

Hey Loop- I have to ask this of someone in the know, not knowing if i asked you before but-

How in the hell does Uwe Boll keep getting jobs? Especially with all the videogames type movies?

Hollywood isn't about what you know, but who you know, and this guy knows EVERYONE. The fact that he makes shit doesn't matter- distributors know him and somehow (don't ask me how), his films sell. Also he probably has a contract with someone (like Ulli Lommel who, in my opinion makes even worse films) so he doesn't even care about the quality of the product he's delivering, he just has to deliver.

Also you said "video game type movies". Let me tell you, right now, if I want to make a film and get it released, if I mention it will look like a video game, it's got a better chance of being released.
And this isn't because these films are better, it's because you guys like watching them (which means they will sell).
