I don't like that idea.

First of all he won't go deep enough and survive. And, he likely doesn't have health insurance. So any blood/stitching/physical therapy is on the taxpayers. So will be his AZT or whatever expensive drugs he'll get on Medicaid.

I just see a big bill for the taxpayers and Dan lingering on for decades.
