So you don't live with each other?

Nope. It is a medium distance relationship. An easy drive away, but not in the same town.

What the FUCK? Run and never look back! This bitch is bad news!! Next you'll find her husband at your door and your corpse will be making the evening news. Things don't go well for many people but they stay and try to make it work. They don't reach out to an ex and try to rekindle what they once had. Most women will not leave their husbands. Children, money, family pressure. She didn't even say she's getting a divorce but wants to hook up you and God knows how many other exes.

Heh. I could easily kick his ass. We both know that. But, I get your point...

which only worries me more.

Why are you with her? Oh, the guaranteed sex and what's available at the moment. And people wonder why I bitch about men.

"Not going anywhere" is only considered a negative in chick-speak. "It isn't going anywhere" (e.g. no wedding) is not an insult to most men, only women looking to get married.

That doesn't last. You still think I want to be fucked like a rag doll when I'm 80-years-old. I'm looking at the bigger picture. I want stability. All you're thinking about is sex but that fire does fade. She's still married and hasn't even mentioned she's leaving him. "Kinkiness" means drama and it's what got Sharon Stone killed in Casino.

You don't know what I'm saying about desire. No biggie. Most people don't. But it is clear that it makes all the difference as far as what people recommend. This was the hypothesis I was trying to explore from the outset.

You forget what happened to the Great Gatsby as well, but it was the desire I talk about that made his career and haunted his life.
