Bishop has stated in public threads that at times he'd like to be a mod. And, plenty of mods pop in and out. Bishop of course has had long periods of activity.

And, I remember you saying you weren't crazy about the guy. But, my impression is that your opinion isn't common. I could be wrong.

No, he's not bad. I kind of like the guy. I just don't see him lifting the place up, like a Bishop or a few others people have thrown the name out of the hat. There are always going to be exceptions. It's a long history. America is proud of its capitalism, teaching it to kids and school as what makes us great. But, you could sit here and point out where where America hasn't acted so capitalistically. I've been meaning to look up tax rates in the US vs. Europe, I bet they aren't so different.

But, there are plenty of mods who are no longer relevant and are still modding.

Often? I've never seen often. I imagine any example has been deleted. His final banning was for posting pics of retards having sex. And, that posting attributed the retards to being JM Production stars. My guess was the retards was bad enough, the JM reference pushed it over the top making it permanent.

They had plenty of opportunities to complain publicly about illegal shit he was posting, they chose not to. Goes back to my whole interpretation that what the board thinks isn't terribly important in decision making here. Plenty of random people come here and contribute significantly to the board. If I were running it, I'd show more deference to these people. You'd get shit and people would bitch about it, but so what? Just ignoring everybody when they ask is disrespectful.
