And, now that I've opened my mouth and tried to look like I'm spouting wise, please humor me and let me explain one more thing I believe I was remiss about. I don't think Goat woke up one morning and said, "hey, I wanna lick JM's asshole today! I'll call Howard". Sucking up is just the critical way to put it. The sympathetic way is to explain that there are just commonalities between Goat and JM's personalities that JM appreciates. Much like the little fragments of info I find about JM here and there, I don't think there are enough commonalities for me to ever be a mod. Nor do I put the effort into the board, so I wouldn't even support myself.

If people want to make the board more whore-friendly, I support what Lou and somebody else said about disciplining certain forums so there aren't people doing everything they can to make you look foolish to be bothered with. I suspect more than just the whores would enjoy it. Probably change the name of General to make the shift more obvious. There will be times when mopez gets bored and heads up there to cause trouble, but that could be addressed by warnings, and when it gets bad, temporary bannings. That would let people know they are welcome here without having to defend themselves.
