What does that mean? What's best for the board??
Other than rare occasions where "power" goes to a mod's head and they bully a bit, and that's not a postive trait, I don't really know what a mod does here.
There isn't much policing that goes on.
All I want from a mod on XPT is like what happened when Donkey recently went off.
That said, I don't see me being "mod" material. Bornyo's assessment of me is correct. Plus, I'm an admitted porn pirate. I disappear, often for long periods. And, I'm a fanboi on a non-fanboi site.
The one thing I do like about mods here is that I have "bumped heads" with several, including some I like very much, and none have completely lost control and banned me for my disagreements with them. I believe that is rare on any board.
And, I think Conky is moderator since so many of us hope he'll someday return.
And, YES, Grumman ... you are not a mod because you aren't a Democrat like say, K1ng.
